I have a G4 powerbook and my son had performed some product testing on it. FYI if you pit a G4 powerbook against a 1 year old, the 1 year old will win!!! Both Hinges snapped, I have since purchased a G4 ibook to replace it. What I am wondering is can I cut the wires to the moniter, splice in some extentions and put the display on a stand to use the computer as a desktop? Or will I have problems getting signal to the display if I splice in extentions?
Thanks for your help!
Neal
