earlier today i was watching a movie on my PB and one of our breakers tripped. i went and reset it and turned my computer and such back on. my first thought was i hope my external hdd isnt ****ed because i was watching a movie from it but after i booted everything back up, it was fine. my mouse though stopped working. its a wireless microsoft intellimouse explorer 2.0 model #1007. it connects through usb2.0 but it runs through a hub. i took the batteries out of the mouse, ive hit the connect button onto of the usb wireless mouse hub, ive clicked the reconnect button on the bottom of the house. what happened? did the breaker tripping mess something up?

thats weird, I have the same mouse and that happened to me also, but it worked fine right after reconnecting everything. Is it possible one of the batteries is in the wrong direction?

no, the light/laser still comes on on the bottom of the mouse. is there a special way to reconnect or does it do it automatically?

I think it does it automatically, because you said you tried pressing the re-connect button on the top of the reciwever, and you pressed the connect button on the bottom of the mouse

How come a breaker trip will reset your PowerBook? The PB Battery pack is not installed? Or because the USB hub power got zapped?
