My ibook harddrive died and I am going to try to replace it. I have had that comp for a while so I just bought a new one and am gonna try to make the broken one work again (as a project). It's a G3 700 MHz ibook (dual USB).

I am looking for a cheap hardrive to put in it. I don't want to spend a lot on the hard drive. Doesn't have to be big. Any one know where I can get one? Thanks

How cheap? NewEgg has a 40GB drive for $66.
Any lower than that and you're probably better off looking at eBay instead of new.

Do a quick forum search. I recently upgraded my 10GB HD in my iBook 500 to 80GB and asked for info/advice in a post in this forum. Got some helpful info, can't remeber it off hand though.
