When I turn on my powerbook (two months old now) the airport picks up 3 different routers, tow are on my home network, one is my neighbor's i think. It relays that there is good signal strength, but when I open Safari, Firefox or AIM none of them can grab a connection. It is the same across all three routers. Is there something I can do to correct this? It has worked great for months now, no luck. Tried last night and this am, still no success.

Any suggestions?

Can you log into the router itself with the IP address?

Select a network from the Airport menu in the menu bar. Then go into your Network System Preferences. Double click the listing for Airport to get to the Airport preferences. Click the TCP/IP tab and see if you are getting a valid IP address if you are using DHCP (typically 192.168.x.x). If you are getting a 169.x.x.x, try clicking on renew DHCP lease to try to get a new IP address. If this doesn't work, try simply restarting your router.

This question belongs in the networking forum.

Meanwhile, under the Network System Prefs, use the interface to set the PB to join "preferred networks", namely your own router.
