Should I leave the battery installed and power adapter pluged to my pb all the time (even fully charged) or alternatively plugging and unplugging the pa. Or, is it ok that I take the battery away and just use the pa. It is because most of the time my pb is stationed on my desk. Pls advise.

Leave the battery in all the time. As long as you have one discharge/charge cycle a month your battery will be fine.

i would say to make the battery work a bit. lithium has to be used else it get poor life.
