I bought my ibook G4 about 5 months ago and everything was great... maybe about 3 months ago i dropped it while it was closed and the airport card came loose and i called apple and they helped me put it back in... but besides the airport card problem it wouldnt turn on.. i messed around with it that nite and it eventually turned on and it was fine untill this past week all of a sudden OSx would quit on me and it started turning off on its own. Now it just wont turn on at all. When i try to turn it on it makes this hissing noise like air is being blown out then it makes this weird long beep noise almost like a horn honking and then it sounds like it turns on like the noise it usually makes when it turns on but nothing comes on the screen, it just turns off again. The real weird thing is that in order for me to even get it to do this i have to push down on the center of the keyboard with the palm of my hand. Do you think this is fixable if i bring it to apple and do u think its the drop 3 motnhs ago that caused this?? Ohh and i already tried taking the battery out over nite and putting it back in.. thanks for any help!!!

Hmm... you dropped it, then it stopped working. Seems related to me

I don't know if they'll fix it for free, since you did the damage, but it's worth taking it in.

Try taking the airport card out.
If you're putting pressure on the centre of the keyboard to make it come on and the airport card came loose before, it sounds likely that there is something wrong with the card.
