I'm having a problem with my TiBook outputting to my tv. I put the s-video into a scart adaptor. this gives me a perfect picture, but its only B&W. However, when I put it through a 3 scart switch box, the colour comes out fine, but because the box is knackered its fuzzy and unwatchable. I've heard that one way to get colour is by getting a s-video to composite adaptor and then pluggin this in. Will this work?

Yes it will. The SCART standard has two pinouts: the regular one supports composite and RGB, the "special" one supports composite and S-Video. Most TVs only have the regular one. So, get an S-Video to Composite adapter and then insert that signal in the SCART adapter.

It's little known, but it's normal.
