I have an old G3/600 which does everything I want except writing to CD or playing DVD's. I have noticed that there are a few Combo and Superdrives for sale on Ebay and wondered how easy it is to add them to this model?

I did exactly that. It's not that hard. But you really should have the service manual which details out each and every step to accomplish that goal. I dont thing I would have been successful if I didn't have it.

I still have a pdf copy of it and if you want, drop me a PM and i'll send you a link for downloading it.
