I was reading / researching powerbook battery topics. It seems like battery loadcycles equate to battery age and capacity. Is this completely true?
I am curious because my 2 year old powerbook battery is lousy.....I’ve drained it and fully charged it about once week since I bought it. Now, I am getting a whopping 16% capacity now...what did I do wrong?

Battery Installed: Yes
First low level warning: No
Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 697
Remaining Capacity (mAh): 695
Amperage (mA): 0
Voltage (mV): 12448
Cycle Count: 109

The number of cycles is generally correlated to the batteries capacity; age can also influence capacity, but not as significantly over shorter time periods (like 2-3 years).

16% after 2 years and 109 cycles seems unusually bad. Did you expose your battery to extreme temperatures? Allow it to drain all the way and stay that way for a while? There are all sorts of things you can do to reduce a battery's capacity.
