OK, so who got a new PowerBook for Christmas?
I didn't but I wasn't wishing for one either, lol. I did however sell my HP zd8225 and have the cash waiting for January 10th! I'm not betting on new PowerBooks though and may have to wait until later to upgrade from my 17" 1.33 PowerBook G4. Even if new Intel PowerBooks do suprise us, I'm not sure if I should get one or just go with a G5 iMac or even a Desktop for home. I just upgraded to Final Cut Studio 5, Logic Pro 7 and Aperture, and I need more power!!!!!! These apps can kill a G4 in no time at all, and unless Apple has Intel versions ready to go, the G5 may be a better choice for a while. I am very lucky and on Friday received my new Quad G5 at work. I can't wait to set it up and run some tests to see what it can do. I'm sure any PowerBook will seem like a snail after I get used to that!
