I am trying to install a Konica Minolta Bizhub C350 color copier/printer to my buddy's powerbook. It is a newer powerbook running OSX10.4
I downloaded the driver from the Konica web site.
http://www.kmbs.konicaminolta.us/epr...rt_Center/Home
When I download it, it seems to be some type of zip file as it wants to open it with something called "Stuff it"
I have the folder on the desktop now, and it shows a help me file, which is of no use, and an installer file called Mac OSX Installer
I click that open, it appears to install something, then asks me to restart.
I do this and dont see anything?
I go to System Preferences and add printer, and add the ip address for the copier.
On the drop down for printer choices it asks for Generic, or has a list of various printer companies. When I choose Generic, it actually associates with the copier, but just prints jibberish, not what I am printing. I tried other, and it opens a search box and asks me to choose a ps file.
I cannot seem to locate the driver file.
I have added an HP network printer to the machine already and have no problems with it, but when I downloaded the driver for that printer, it was just a ps file, it didnt have me install anything.....so not sure what else to try. I tried the Konica support line and they know nothing about Apple. So any ideas?
Thanks!
