Would you install Tiger on a 400MHz Pismo with 512 Meg?

Hi
I have a Pismo (great book!) 400MHz with 512 Ram.
Would you suggest I upgrade it to Tiger?
Will it be slower or the same?
Are there still a lot of issues with Tiger when it comes to drivers being non compatible etc etc ?
Will battery life be better or worse?
Thanks
-Peter

Slower than what? Panther?
I would think it would be run well enough (or about as well as Panther would).

It runs very well with 512mb on a pismo. I first installed it on my girlfriend's pismo when she had 512mb - works perfectly. Of course, more memory is better.
Go for it!

I put it on my Pismo 500 and its great. 512 memory is sufficient...though, yes, more is better.

I have a Pismo with a slow drive (4200 RPM) and Tiger on it. Its not any faster than Panther- but runs OK - with a faster drive (5400) its even better.
Battery life is the same. Drivers aren't really an issue.

for me, tiger seemed slightly faster than panther (which was faster than jaguar).
all, slower than os9 (but so much better!)

it runs better on my 400 MHz G3 iMac with 768 MB than Panther did, if that's any help.

Please keep in mind the ambiguously selective general understandings we've all agreed upon...
