Hi,

I understand that the new MacBook Pro has replaced the 15" PPC based PowerBook and that when the current stocks of 15" PPC PowerBooks run out that's it. I currently own a 1.25Ghz Al Book with a pretty tired battery (down to nearly half original capacity). I was planning to hold off buying a replacement battery for a while. However, does the Al book's deletion mean that replacement batteries will also soon be in short supply or is Apple likely to provide replacement batteries for a while?

Batteries are one of the things that third parties do pretty well with (often higher capacity than Apples), so I wouldn't worry about it.
