Has anyone tried this? Purchasing a Bluetooth 2.0 board from a 1.5ghz PB 12" and installing it in place of the 1.1 board from the 867mhz/1ghz/1.33ghz PB 12" ? I'm thinking about trying this and would just like to check to see if anyone has already tried and succeeded/failed? Thanks!

I don't recall if the connector is the same, but you can check them in the pbfixit guides. I've never done this, but there's no reason why it shouldn't work. The BT module has always been USB. Getting to it, though, is a pain in the butt since you have to take out almost everything in the bottom case: battery, HD, DCDC board, heat sink, main logic board, optical drive, and the BT/speaker module on the right side.
