I know there's a fair amount of speculation as to when the MacBook Pros will ship, and I don't see anyone mentioning a date other than just "February". I went online today to check the status, so I thought some would like to see the following excerpt from that page:

Same here.
EDIT: YES I AM AN IDIOT
And that date, being smack in the middle of the month, seems pretty darn arbitrary. I had read or heard that it was their intention to have them shipping by the 7th.

I placed a second order tonight on the Developer connection (first was in the Educational store). Both have a ship date of the 15th, despite being placed three days apart.

Everyone's order seems to have the 15th as the estimate. I wouldn't put too much stock in it.

Oh well. At least it's not 2/28. Actually, I placed my order about 10 minutes after the keynote ended, though it seems to list this date a couple days later.

1. User-started threads about the MacBook Pro are still prohibited (see announcements at top, though it'll disappear tonight).
2. Ship time threads are never welcome, though not explicitly prohibited. (But mainly they're boring because everyone just has to post one.)
3. Oversize image. (It wasn't even information that text couldn't have done equally well.)
Any other rules you wanna break today?!?
