Hey, everyone. I searched the forums for problems like this but I couldn't find any, so here goes.

I dropped my friend's Powerbook G4. There's some damage to it that appear to be mostly cosmetic. It hasn't been running any differently in the week since I tripped over the powercord and sent it flying, and the problems are small enough not to be noticed unless your looking for them. Specifically, there's something that appears to be like a permanent smudge on the LCD, almost like there's a faint shadow over the image in that area. Here's a link to a picture so you can see what I mean.

My camera picks it up best in black and white:

My question is what should I do to fix this? Is it even worth fixing? I've been doing some research and to replace the whole LCD seems to cost upwards of 400 dollars.

Also, there's some damage to the casing, but I think if I get the right tools I can bend it back on my own. Picture: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ke/wrinkle.jpg

Has anyone else had to do this? tips? suggestions?

Thanks in advance for all your help.
