When I press on my trackbad button I am hearing a strange short grinding sound about three seconds later. This just started a few minutes ago for the first time. I've been using my computer for about an hour thus far.

The ibook is about two years old.

How concerned should I be?

where is the grinding sound coming from?? The HD? Combo drive?

The peculiar sound and vibration has left as mysteriously as it arrived.

When I did hear it, it was right under the trackpad button.
