I managed to scratch up my display's rear panel pretty bad, and I'm getting sick and tired of staring at these scratches. (Also hearing "i thought you love your mac so much how could you do that to it?) Just noticed that when in stock, the replacement part is only $69 on pbfixit.com.

Does anyone know how to replace the rear of the display (pbfixit does not have a guide with instructions).

I was wondering this too, ive got a couple of dents that i'd like to take care of, apple told me it'd be 1000 because they have to replace the whole display, ridiculous!
