How much to repair a trackpad?

	I spilt red wine on it a few months ago and the 17" Rev a is just sitting around not doing much. It needs a new battery too but I'm wondering whether it's worth fixing the trackpad and selling the powerbook or just selling it as it is. Alternatively I could fix it and give it to my brother as a birthday present. If it's less than £250/$500 then I'd probably fix it.
