Hello,
I called Apple and told them I had the light spots on my powerbook. So they overnighted me a box to throw my powerbook into.

I am going to backup everything I have though, just incase something goes wrong with shipping.

Whats the best way to backup all my data for free?

And what do the generally do if you have the light spots, replace the screen?

Thank you!

Burn DVD's as Disk images.
You can then place those images back onto your laptop
