Hi,
I have no sound comng out from the built-in speakers of my laptop G4 17''
I've checked the preferences but I cannot tune the output volume, the cursor
is like frozen.
When I plug the laptop on stereo, or headphone, the sound is there.
Does anybody know how to get the sound back to my speakers ?

I had excactly the same problem with my PB 15" a while ago. No built in speaker volume but had sound if I connected the headphones or exernal speakers.

I couldn't figure out what to do but it just randomly came back thankfully and has been OK since.

Sorry I can't be of help - perhaps someone else can shed some light on the problem.
