The tip of my charger (the part that plugs into my iBook) has gone bad, can't fix it either. Does any one have a charger tip (with a couple inches of cord on it) for trade or sale. I have tons of Apple stuff that I would trade, we could both pay for our own shipping and that would be the end of it. Again, I'm not looking for a whole charger, just the tip with a few inches of cord, I can splice it then...

Let me know if anyone can help!

i'm by no means an expert but: i've attempted resurrecting a broken power adapter before, and the problem i ran into is that the wires aren't side by side as in a normal power cord, one surrounds the other, so it's a lot harder to reinsulate them after soldering to keep them from shorting. good luck though
green links don't belong to me!
