Okay until about 24 hours ago i could use my cd/dvd drive model of drive:MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-815 in a Powerbook 17inch) without any hick ups. Only today at the start of a long listing of images to be transfered to web suddenly my dvd/cd drive still accepts dics to go in but after a few seconds they are ejected again.

What can I do before being forced to rob a bank for a replacement? And if I need a replacement, what is a good online place to get one and is it easy to fit it in yourself?
