Well I can't see why you leave the thred and delete the contents but anyway.......

I have my mates I book here and it has some serious trouble. It will only boot in safe mode. It will not boot from disc. It will not boot normaly. It just crashes after about 15 seconds and requests a restart. I have linked it up to my powerbook with firewire and run Disk warrior at it and everything seems to be ok with the disk. I have repaired all permissions using the disc utillity and have deleted all caches ect. It still just chrashes after 15 seconds in anything but safe mode. Has anyone got any ideas?

Cheers

Run the Hardware Test to see if you have bad RAM or a bad logic board.

Well, if it refuses to boot off an OS X disc properly, you don't have to be concerned about the hard drive. I would pull out additional RAM installed, since that's usually the culprit.
