apple has proven that they are as loyal to me as i am to them, my brand new g4 ibook came this morning via fedex. certainly a big step up from my 800mhz g3, but overall qualiity doesn't seem quite as good as my old one. most of all, wow, os x has come a long way since 10.2.8

I read one of your posts on another section of the forum - is this anything to do with your faulty logic board on the ibook G3? Did they replace it for you? If that's the case could you have a look at the thread I've got running about my girlfriend's G3 ibook? She's having similar problems.

Glad you like your new ibook - if you bought it yourself why did you choose this time to get it? I'd have held out till the new Macbooks! Mind you I think I'm holding out too long already. I'm writing this on a 6 year old pismo...

technically i'm not supposed to discuss it at all since i signed a confidentiality agreement, but let's just say i didn't pay for it. this was after 5 or 6 new logic boards, i finally got fed up and called applecare and they transferred me over to customer relations, i think that's the key because i'm not sure that the support technicians (even the "senior level" techs) have the power to replace an entire system
