powerbook to tv-- no audio?

I've been trying to hook up my 15" powerbook to my tv. I've bought the Monster itv link for 15" powerbooks. The instructions are very poor and don't really tell you what to do. I've figured out how to view my desktop on the tv, which is nice, but I can't hear any audio. The only audio is coming from my computer.

The monster cable has a yellow s-video and then a red plug and a blue plug that's supposed to be audio-- but it's not working.

We have two tvs in the house, one has s-video and the yellow-white-red jacks in the front and the other tv only has yellow-white-red in the front. The tv I'm currently using has the s-video jack in the front and happens to be over 10 years old. I don't know if the reason it's not working is because I'm hooking it up wrong, it's an old tv or the cable is faulty.

Any sugestions?

If I wanted to test this on the other tv, the one that only has yellow, white and red, what kind of cable would I need to hook this powerbook up to that tv? Would I need to buy a second cable that connects to this monster cable?

Please, any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks,
gris
