Well, let me explain.

Awhile ago, I spilled water on my ibook. It worked fine when i spilled it, i didn't bother to dry it off because I was later for something ( i know, stupid me) anyway, when I got back my screen had went really dim, like almost to a point where you couldn't see it.

so, i thought right then my backlight inverter board had went out, so i purchased a new one on Ebay. Now, I can't find anything that shows me how to install the new one.

If you could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advanced.

Maybe ifixit.com's guide page (formerly PBFixIt) will have something.

I looked on there already. The only thing I saw close was the Display, and I dunno if that meant the same thing as I was trying to do, because they didn't show a picture of the inveter, so I dunno.

If someone could please find another site that shows you how to install this thing it would help me a lot.

I don't want to mess up my iBook trying to install this thing.

Thanks, that did help a bit.
At least now I know how to disconnect and find it.

I greatly appreciate this.
