Another confirmation here that it works fine. I've connected to mine both via VGA and DVI with no problems. This is from the first aluminum 15 inch, so yours should also have no problems.

Great! Do you like it? How's the blacklight bleeding?
Also-did it come with a DVI cable?
And do you use some sort of a dock with it?
and can you dual display it with the monitor or only one at a time?
Sorry for all the questions - just don't want to be disappointed.

Heck, I recently sold my Mini (going to get a MBP), but I was using it with the 2405 (1920x1200) just fine, and that was with 32MB vram. You should be fine with the 2005!

Okay, I just bought the monitor.
What's the best way to connect to it with my Powerbook? Standard cord , dock.. etc ?
Also - is it possible to dual display with the screen, or can I only have 1 screen running at a time.

Connect it using the DVI cable that came with the screen.
You can run it in calm shell mode (powerbook closed and monitor working) or duel screen mode (both powerbook and monitor working same time)
I use my old RevA 17" Powerbook to drive a 2405 no problems at all, have been using it like this for about 7-8 months.
take a look:
