I have a 1.25 Al powerbook and have been trying to add ram to it. I have tried 2 crucial sticks from new egg and two other off brand sticks from Outpost last year. Is there some problem with this model accepting ram that I don't know about? Sadly I am out of my warrenty period and was wondering if anyone had any clues as to how to fix it. The RAM freezes the computer when its the only stick in there. When it and a stock 256 stick is in there it will work, but freeze after a while. If I try to boot to the 10.4 cd it freezes. What can I do?
