Hi everyone... I have one problem with the clam shell mode...
When I close the computer, and move something to wake him up, its start everything on the other monitor with no problem... BUT y went to Display preference and started to play with lower resolution, and the esternal monitor just went all white... and know I only hvae to be with both of them on, I can not put it on clamshell mode beause Is going to put all white again... Question is the following.. how can i put it back to the original resolution?

Thanks in advance!

Reboot and reset PRAM (command-option-p-r until second boot chime). This might clear out the bad resolution.

Hold F7 for a couple seconds to switch between mirrored mode and extended desktop. Sometimes switching that and putting it back will solve weirdness with multiple displays.

Do you have the power adapter plugged in? You need it to run in clamshell mode.

Hmmm...can you try the monitor with another computer? Looking over your problem again, monitors don't usually go white with an unsupported resolution (is it CRT or LCD? That may be the case with an LCD.). Make sure that the monitor still works with something else. Otherwise, it could be dead. Also, there could be an issue with your video dongle. Try another monitor with this Powerbook to make sure it still works.
