OK, I did a search, but couldn't find anyone with the same problem (not sure exactly what to search for, but I did find several posts about people who have color changes on their 12" screen after switching user accounts)

Here's my problem. Lately,my 12" (latest model, only about 2 months old) has started to change color after it starts up or wakes from sleep. For a few seconds the screen seems much brighter (the colors do) and then it switches back to what it normally looks like, where the colors are somehwat more muted. It's not a big problem, but I want to make sure that this isn't a sign of screen failure of something like that.

Anyone else familiar with this problem?
Thanks,
Mark

I think this has something to do with the display profile setting you are using under display preferences. Mine does the same thing, but gets brighter due to the setting I use. It seems like the computer boots into one setting and then changes into your setting shortly after. Just a thought.

Also, when it does this after waking up from sleep might have something to do with your power prefs, the "automatically dim" setting.

Thanks, just glad to know that it's nothing serious.
