Macworld just came out with a review and also with additional notes:

very interesting reading: particularly the slightly-better-than-PB airport range which is still not as good as an iBook, and the battery life figures, and heat (slyly put: "The MacBook Pro is definitely not a cool system.") There's also confirmation of the processor whine, in some models. The hinge-related restriction on maximum lid-opening angle didn't seem to be worth a mention, or else it wasn't a factor in their usage.

very balanced report, imo
