Does anyone know if this would be possible?

idea: take apart the 12 inch, and put a higher res screen in it.

is this possible?

please only respond if you actually know if its possible or if you know for a fact that it's not possible.

I can confirm that half of your plan is possible.

Taking apart the 12" PowerBook: Possible
Obtaining a higher resolution 12" panel: Possible

I don't know about the following steps.

I'd like to know if you can do this too. Maybe you could call Apple and ask if it is possible. They probably won't advise you to do it, but they probably know if it can be done.

don't be offended. that is how ALL of his posts are. just search by clicking on his screen name.

they are all one-liners devoid of substance. more of a hit and run commenting (to boost up post count?)

no, I'm pretty sure he was referring to him. His 1300 posts equate to roughly 1400 words.
