Hey everyone,

I've got an iBook G3 900Mhz that I love with all my heart, but I think her tray loading Combo Drive is wearing out and I really would love to have slot loading SuperDrive. That I know of (and I don't know all that much) Apple doesn't sell these seperate (once again... I'm not sure). Do you know where I can buy one and any idea how much they will cost?

Thanks so much!

www.macsales.com Note that the opening from the Combo Drive will be naked.

I actually have a similar problem with a drive that is nearing its end (I think). I found macsales.com last night while googling, the only thing I wasn't sure of is, on the drop down on the optical drive page, the super drive for the Powerbook G4 will fit in an iBook G4, right?
MacBook Pro | 2.16 ghz core2duo | 2gb ram | superdrive | airport extreme
iBook G4 | 1.2ghz | 768mb ram | combodrive | airport extreme
iPhone 3GS | 32 GB | Jailbreak, or no Jailbreak
