If I reformat my PowerBook using the OS X disks that came with the laptop, will iLife be re-installed as well?

How old is the PowerBook and are the discs marked as PowerBook Reinstall discs or Mac OSX (10.?) discs?

It also depends on the age of the Reinstall Discs.

If they are recent, then you should be given the choice of what to install during the process.
