So, according to Apple the new MBP ships with a Lithium-Polymer battery, but my MBP has a Lithium-Ion battery....


Apple specs page still lists a Li-Polymer Battery at MacBook Pro Specs

Everyone check your battery and see what you got.

Are Li-Polymer batteries any better than Li-Ion????

Somehow I thought they were labeled differently, I have seen many Lithium Polymer batteries and they are labeled as Li-PL or Li-Py.... This one is labeled Li-Ion.

I dunno, whichever it is I love my MacBook, I guess I am just a bit ignorant on Battery technology.
