Is it possible to upgrade the video card on an late summer 05 G4 iBook. If it is possible does anyone know of good video cards I could use. Thanks

Not possible, as the graphics chipset is part of the logic board.

Nope, sorry, Apple doesn't use modular video cards in their laptops.

well is it possible to increase the screen resolution through any kind of hack?

Not the res of the internal screen, as it is set by the physical amount of pixels in the panel. You can however use Screen Spanning Doctor (google it) to increase the res of an externally attached screen, and this will also enable extended desktop mode as apposed to just mirroring
