My girlfriend just got an mbp 2.0. I love it and it is an excellent machine. It works very fast and I love the OSX. However, I have sweaty palms and after using it, she always yells at me because it leaves an unslightly light-brownish stain on the palm rests below the keyboard. Should this deter me from purchasing one? (I was going to order the 2.16) I mean I am always leaving these ugly marks on it. Perhaps, it will cause eventual damage to the case. Do any of you have any experience with this problem?

I just got a Powerbook, which has the same exterior as the MBP, and my hands are on them almost 5 hours a day. Usually a wipe with a clean cloth or a tissue just takes off all the sweaty marks or any fog marks (yeah for some reason I get those).

I have no sort of permanent marks yet. It still looks like new. So your good to go
