Hey guys, I've had my Macbook Pro for about 4 days now and I've just noticed that some songs cause the sound to just stop working. It always occurs at the same part of the certain songs so I think it's iTunes but I remember it working fine on my Powerbook iTunes before. It happens even when I'm connected to speakers or while I'm on the Macbook speakers. Are they just bad songs, not sure but they work fine on iTunes on Windows and have never had problems with the files before? I've tried reverting back to iTunes 6.0.2 also, and it still does it. Any suggestions? Anyone care to try, leave your e-mail and I'll e-mail you the song and the time at which it messes up. Someone please help.

If "It happens even when I'm connected to speakers or while I'm on the Macbook speakers" then you must mean to say it's not related to the speakers at all, right? That's what it sounds like.

Have you tried playing the files in a different app?
Have you tried copying them to another computer or to a portable player or burned to CD to see if the problem persists?
Did you copy the files from your Windows machine? It's possible they were corrupted during the transfer.
How may songs out of your library have this problem? Most? Only a few?

Just trying to ask all the obvious (to me) questions so you can narrow it down.
