Hello,

A few weeks ago my first HD failed and apple replaced it with a new FUJITSU MHV2060AH drive. Now I noticed a click from it every one or two seconds, and I wonder if that is the way it should be. I don't think I heard it before...
It seems that the clicks only happen when the drive is not busy, if I open photoshop for example, the clicks stop until photoshop finished starting up. Those are not series of clicks but one click every few seconds.

Do you think that is normal?
Thanks!

It appears to be normal. I had my new HD replaced because of the clicks. The replacement HD did the same thing. I noticed my friends' powerbook did the same thing.
