Hi!
Will I be able to watch HD movies from an external hard disc? Has anyone tried this already?

yes it can, i just watched the X3 HD 1024 trailer off of my G-Drive 100GB, 5400rpm drive, and it played flawlessly. i'm running it off of firewire
