When I return from school, the cursor was moving slowly like it's stuck or something. So, I tried to change the cursor speed + tracking speed. But then, it was still slow... So, I shut it down. Now, when i turn it back on; the cursor doesn't move at all. I have to use the usb mouse. Did anyone have this problem? im using the 12" ibook G4

Thanks alot...

I've searched around for this problem...but haven't find any similar problems yet; Thanks.
I cleaned it, but nothing happened

I think your touchpad is worn out. I am thinking that the conductive layer is stuck down somewhere on your touchpad. If you can find the part, get it. Otherwise you couls either source the part from a broken ibook on ebay and ut it in your self, or else get one of those laptop mice. I hate them, personally, but it would be easier than taking apart your ibook.

I had a similar situation before, and what apple had me do was reinstall my OS. It did fix the issue, but what a pain to reinstall.
