I officially have 0 pageouts on my powerbook.



just thought i'd start a new topic - tired/bored.


for anyone who doesnt know what that is, its in the system profiler, under system memory. You'll have a number of page in's /page outs. 0 pageouts = best performance, as i believe (correct me if im wrong) it means that the OS has to reorganize the memory to virtual memory the least often.


at least, i think thats how it works.
17" lo-res 1.67GHz alubook,
100gig 5400rpm hdd, 1gig ram, soon to be 1.5 when my funds are up to par.
