I have a G4 Powerbook with 60gb HD. It states that I only have a 5 gbs left and when I run a HD sweep with disk omnisweeper, it states that I have 30 gbs free? I have searched and cant find where the extra stuff is hiding. Any suggetions on how to thoroughly clean the HD would be greatly appreciated.

anyone --please -I really cant find out where the clutter is. Please help. I have emptied the trash, temp, cache, etc --where else?

there is a program on versiontracker....its free and called whatsize. I've used it to show hidden files that were HUGE! good luck

I tried that program and got the same result --here is a screen shot of it. Notice that the capacity of the HD does not add up with the usage on the right? Am i missing something?

What programs are running? Is something using a lot of virtual memory? Photoshop......
