Hi,

I've read up on the different posts about all the many people that have an issue with the lower memory slot that seems common with 15" powerbooks. Most advice leads toward sending it in for logic repair. It stinks how there is help with newer powerbooks with this issue, when it's pretty obvious that this is a defect.

I wanted to ask if there are any of you with the memory issue that are out warranty. What did you decide to do? Is the powerbook working fine? Is there a particular way that someone can care for the powerbook to make sure the powerbook just doesn't die one day (of course no one can guarantee that)?

Thanks for your help!
