Absolutely don't do that. The last rev uses DDR2 no other ones do.

And Transcend makes PC2-4200 RAM. What's your point?

Hi, yeah i have seen a supplier in NZ that has the ddr2, i was just wondering if the brand was reliable given most folks are into 'crucial'.

I bit the bullet and purchased off ebay in the end.

thanks all.

I bought an extra 1GB Transcend RAM for my iMac core duo, and it runs fine, not problems. Only problem was installing it, as the actual board the RAM is on was a tad to thick to go into the slot in my iMac easily.
iMac Core Duo 1.83 Ghz | 1.25GB RAM | 160HD, MacBook Core Duo 1.83 Ghz | 13.3" | 60HD | 1.0GB RAM
