I am no longer able to insert CDs/DVDs into my MacBook Pro. It takes it and spits it right back out instantaneously.

It worked a few weeks ago, but I haven't tried a disc up until today when I went to burn the Mac drivers CD for Bootcamp.

Any suggestions?

Ive got it accepting discs, but not 100% of the time. Looks like a hardware issue.

Any update to the problem tikki? Did you settle with it or get it addressed?

They replaced the Optical Drive. I am now on repair round 3 with my MacBook Pro. This thing stinks.
