Hi guys,

Just installed boot camp and the firmware update and all other osx updates. Now Wifi is unusably slow in OSX but works perfectly in XP.

I tried turning on the interference robustness but that didnt help. I have a full reception bar.

This only appears to be happening on my schools wifi network. If I boot to XP its zippy, in OSX its less than 2k/s transfers and liike 30% packet loss. Any ideas?

No ideas, but I'd like to hear about anyone else with this situation. The wi-fi on my PB G4 is slow on my home network. My wife's iMac flys (as does my Dell Lattitude D810).

I've never re-installed my PB, and perhaps that's the answer ... but it feels like the Windows way of doing things. Certainly there must be a better answer.

Still no clues in this. I might wind up reinstalling osx as I've been having dvd burning problems. Even more puzzling is that this problem isn't all over my schools campus. Only in one building. I'd sorta expect them to have standardized the connection and equipment used for wifi so it's definately odd.
