I've got a Canon Pixma MP500 hooked up to my Windows XP machine, but I can't seem to get it to print from my MacBook Pro through the network.

Anyone with the same setup who got this to work?

This really has nothing to do with Powerbooks, but you could set up Bonjour on the PC. This should make it easy for the Mac to see the printer.

I can see the printer from the mac, I just can't print.

I tried setting up Bonjour, but that didn't work. I don't remember the error, but I could try doing it again, and see what happens.

[EDIT]
Bonjour (on my XP machine): No Bonjour Printers are available
