Hi there.
My MacBook Pro (serial no. W8607...) is gettin' really hot.
Now, I've heard stories about people getting new MBP's when faced with this bug, and here's where my question comes in:
Do I get to keep my current MBP while I wait for the new one (if I get one that is), like I did when I discovered that the charger were broken?
That way I could transfer all the content from the "old" one over to the new one during the first startup, right?
(and behold...another question arises: exactly what gets transfered during this process? All of my stuff, like music, movies, documents, folders etc, along with my settings for mail and so on - and all my mails, addresses and such - or just the settings for everything? And what about the installed software?)
If I do not get to keep my old one, but has to return it first - would you advice me to do it, or is it safe to just stick in there with the heat? 'Cuz it's not really a problem, but I thought if I could get a new one and keep my old in the meantime I might as well do it...
